The high temperatures in Osaka will continue for a month, and Viola has grown tired and is feeling tired.
We are currently on a pruning campaign to refresh it.
Today, I picked up a rose pink viola and an extra edition violet.
First of all, rose pink? Viola from “Vivi Her Wine Antique”.
This is what it looks like before cutting.
It was getting thicker and the number of small flowers was increasing.
Take a look at that.
When you cut it, you can see that it is over 15cm tall.
I cut a blue viola too much the other day, so I learned from that and decided to start by adjusting the height.
Cut at the base of the currently blooming flower.
From there, just comb out the thick, dumpling-shaped stems, and it will look like this.
It was about 7-8cm tall.
Here are the results (?).
There are violets (probably violets) that have recently reduced the number of flowers.
This one was also overgrown with leaves and seemed to be narrow, so I decided to prune it or rather organize the baby plants at the tips of the runners.
I forgot to take a before photo, so I decided to take an after photo.
You can’t really tell from this photo, but it looks much cleaner and more airy.
Influenced by the article I saw yesterday, I actually pruned my violets.
In the pie plate I have left over,
“Field style” with Karex Bronze Curl that has grown thick.
You will be happy to see the spring scenery on your table.
This viola has a very thin stem, so it doesn’t seem like it will last long.
But violets also have strong roots,
I hope it continues to bloom like it is grown using hydroponics.
Ah, plants are so cute! Unfortunately, it’s over for today.
it was fun!
