Even though it’s still July, it’s still surprisingly hot, with the temperature today being 34℃/26℃.
Today I’ll show you how it looks after cutting it back.

First up is Geranium Moonlight ‘Senbaro’.
The leaves are burnt even though they are only exposed to sunlight for a few hours during the day.
Until last week, the flowers were as big as my fist, but they are now fewer in number and smaller.
It’s hot, isn’t it?

By the way. The current state of Red Garden, the reason I bought Senbaro, is like this.
The Sambritenia scarlet circled in yellow on the upper right is currently growing buds.
Maybe I’ll be able to see the scenery I’ve been envisioning for the time being in the next week or so…?

Next is Petunia.
The seedlings cost 100 yen, the same as last year, but they seemed to be different seeds, and I was surprised to find they had insects. I need to take care of it.
Still, they are blooming vigorously. Thank you.

The sun is still high right now, and the time when the sun shines on the balcony is short.
It’s going to be a long time coming, so I have to think about countermeasures. What did you do last year?
