Dutch Iris "Sapphire Beauty"

Yesterday was very gloomy due to the yellow sand, so I watered the plants and quickly retreated indoors.
It was a pretty nice and sunny day today, so I took a lot of time to admire the flowers and noticed that the pansies, tulips, and primroses were coming to an end, and it seemed like the height of spring had passed on my balcony.
The second half of spring has already started, and we’d like to introduce you to the current situation.

First of all, Betsuna’s Dutch Iris “Sapphire Beauty” opened this morning.
The exquisite color is blue, or should I say blue-purple, and it’s just beautiful.

It’s nice to have yellow in it. Another commemorative photo from a different angle.

At her feet, the bellflower cuttings are blooming into buds.
Once the bellflowers bloom, spring is truly in its second half, and the season quickly changes to early summer.

Speaking of buds, the rose “Cocktail” is a delight.
It’s fun and happy to watch the buds grow bigger and bigger every day.
It’s only the first year since I cut it and it’s a small plant, so I’m excited to see how big it will bloom.

This is also a Geranium Moonlight “Senbaro” that I look forward to seeing its buds expand every day.
I’m really happy because it’s been since last summer, and it feels like the flower buds are packed in really tightly, so that’s exciting as well.

While both roses and geraniums are entering their season, Clematis Cartmaniejo was in full bloom this morning.
I somehow thought that clematis would reach their peak in the second half of spring, but this year they bloomed earlier than expected, probably because of the continued high temperatures in late April.
The flowers look good, so I think I can enjoy them for a while yet.

This weekend I’m planning to get rid of the pansies and do some other replanting in preparation for summer.
Maybe I should go look at the seedlings before that. Let’s hope we have a good encounter.
