Today’s balcony – the height of spring –
The maximum temperature has been around 25℃ for the past few days, which is quite hot for spring.
The plants are opening all at once, and my balcony is in the midst of spring.

First of all, we planted tulips “Sunset Tropical”.
The tulips “Sunset Tropical” open like peony flowers and are beautiful.

Ah, I’m glad I planted it!

There are three types of tulips planted for this spring.
The long-awaited tulip “Estella Linebelt” has also bloomed.
The neck is short and the pot is small, so the flowers and stock are small, but I’m happy with it. The petals with fringes are cute, and the colors look gorgeous.

Another tulip, “Greenland,” has beautiful stems, but there is no sign of it blooming yet.
Well, it would be sad if it bloomed so quickly and disappeared so quickly, so it would be nice to wait for it to bloom.

Goldfish grass Bronze Dragon, which took quite some time to bloom from bud, has started to open all at once in the past few days.
The pale pink flowers are gorgeous, and the black stems and leaves are crisp and beautiful, making you fall in love with it.
It’s hard to tell from the photo, but the flowers are quite large. That’s my favorite too.

The buds of the Dutch iris “Sapphire Beauty” have suddenly swelled in the past few days.
Of the two bulbs, only one seems to be blooming, with just a bunch of buds coming out of the bulb.
Please use this as a reference when purchasing sprouting bulbs in the future.

Clematis Cartmaniejo are also opening one after another, and the area is becoming more lively with each passing day.
It’s so cute! It’s my dream flower, so I’m glad it’s blooming this much.

This morning I opened a Pelargonium ‘Grand Passo Plus’ sweet pink.
I feel like if this blooms, spring will start in the second half. It blooms until early summer, so I want to enjoy it for a long time.

Sambritenia Scarlet is in a good mood in this heat.
It keeps budding and looks like it will bloom a lot this year as well.

Lastly, what I was really happy to find this morning was that the bean seedlings had seed pods!
I was planting the roots of legumes that I bought at the supermarket in an empty planter to fill them with nitrogen from the legume family and for rhizobia.
I was happy enough just to see the flowers bloom, but now that I’ve left them without fertilizers or pesticides, they’ve even produced fruit!
This is my first harvest from natural cultivation, so I want to enjoy and cherish it.

I didn’t let my guard down as it was still only mid-April, but the plants are already starting to move towards early summer.
We’ve run out of water quite a bit now, so while we’re fully enjoying the current bustle, it’s time to move on with summer in mind.
