Today’s temperature is 13℃/3℃, sunny and warm when walking during the day.
I would like to show you how the buds are blooming later than usual, probably because the temperatures have been like this for a long time.

First of all, smelly violets.
Last year, or maybe the year before, it was already blooming in December.
This year, it has finally reared its head. The long-awaited bud. fun.

Next up is Christmas Rose, which is in its third year.
Perhaps it has taken root firmly, or if anything, it has budded even more vigorously than last year despite the intense heat.

Since this fall, I haven’t given any fertilizer or pesticides to any of my plants.
The flowers may be smaller than last year.
That’s okay, I’m looking forward to it.

Lastly, Dendrobium Angel Baby “Green Ai”.
Although I carefully cared for this one last year according to the textbook, it only produced a few flowers.
I’ve been neglecting it this year and haven’t given it any fertilizer, but it’s producing a lot of buds.

Is it better to leave it alone, or has the stock gained strength? Will need to be observed in the future.

If there are only buds, there will be no bloom, so I will introduce some other beautiful ones.

First up is garden cyclamen.
The pink color is gorgeous and very cute. I always feel like it’s like a torch.

Calibrachoa ‘Uno Double’ orange bloomed the other day when the lowest temperature was 0℃.

I got it last spring, and it didn’t bloom much in the summer due to scale insect damage, but I’ve been overwintering it.
However, I didn’t do anything special, I just cut off the infested part and put it under the eaves.
I hope it blooms this summer.

Speaking of out of season, lace lavender is blooming nicely right now.

The buds swelled before the big cold wave arrived at the end of last year, and I thought they would die.
It’s surprisingly durable, and it’s not too bushy right now, and it’s blooming well and growing tall.
Perhaps because the temperature is low, the purple color is deep and beautiful.

Finally, Margaret.
It’s blooming happily now and is putting out buds one after another.

This one also blooms later than last year. Stocks may also be small.
I thought it would bloom early because of the mild winter, but that’s not the case.

I’ve written a lot about it, but just the fact that it’s blooming and that it’s doing well is enough for me.
Even though it’s winter, my balcony is quite lively, and I still want to enjoy the “winter” state.
