Anyway, the unusual heat continues, today’s temperature is 39℃/28℃.
This may be the first time in my life that I have seen such numbers.
What’s going on?! In the high temperature that makes you want to comment,
Outdoors without an air conditioner! The balcony! ! I pruned two petunias that had grown vigorously.
First, start with the magenta pink seedlings.
According to past articles, the last cutback was about a month and a half ago.
If you think about it, you’re growing pretty fast. This is what it looks like now.

I wanted it to grow a little thicker, so I cut it just above the side buds. Refreshing.
Will this help me conserve my stamina? I hope you can survive the hot summer.

Next up is Petunia ‘Easy Wave’ yellow.
This one also has a lot of flowers blooming and is very cute.

By the way, last time, I also cut back about a month and a half ago.
Looking at it this way, it seems like it has grown quite a bit.
But it was stretching due to the heat, so I finally put in some scissors.

Enjoy after cutting.
I tried using Easy Wave Yellow and Summer Mist Blue.
It was my wish to match it with this color. happy.

When I cut it, I noticed the damaged leaves and insects that were hard to see, so it was a good thing.
Well, I’m thankful that both of these plants survive the heat rather than the flowers.
Apparently the temperature will be high this October as well, so I hope we can enjoy it for a long time.
So, this is probably the end of the first midsummer cutback.
It will grow well!
