It started raining in the afternoon, and today’s temperature was 25℃/19℃.

I saw twice on other people’s blogs that they had cut back Sanbritainia.
“By the way!” I decided to cut back immediately.

The official website says “before the rainy season”, but I guess it’s okay.
Actually, I was so happy that it was growing so thick that I couldn’t cut it.
It bloomed once last month, and now it looks like this. It’s only flowing to one side.

When I took the plunge and inserted scissors, there was quite a bit of volume at the bottom.

I finally got around to cutting it, and it ended up looking like this.

I put a bud in the gap. That is the area circled in red.
I would like it to grow evenly, preferably even right above me.

At the same time, I also plucked the core of Summer Mist.
When I noticed it, I was surprised to see that it had grown quite long.

On the official website,
Repeat “pinning” 2 to 3 times for 2 to 3 weeks after planting. The number of buds will increase, resulting in a voluminous plant.
As a general rule of thumb, you should prune the branches that have grown outside the pot along the inside circumference of the pot, but if the plant is still small or the leaves are not crowded, you can just pinch off the tips.
So I thought I’d have to cut it down quite a bit, so it ended up looking like this.

…Maybe it won’t change much (sweat).
The areas circled in yellow have large buds that I was too excited to cut.
When it blooms, cut it off.

So, even though we are in the rainy season, I decided to put some scissors in there.
Other plants will also be cut back and pruned.
I wonder what will happen, I’m looking forward to summer!
