It’s raining and quite humid today, 27℃/22℃.
It’s been a long time since I’ve been sweating like this, but I’m in a calm atmosphere, and I’m going back to the rainy season.
First up is Geranium ‘Moonlight’ Senbalo.
Since I added more pots in early spring, the leaves have increased and it has grown thick.
I think it’s about 35cm tall. It got bigger.
To tell you the truth, ever since I added more pots, I’ve been having trouble adjusting the amount of water.
If you wait until the surface of the soil dries, the leaves will become limp.
I try to water it when the pot gets lighter, but I still see some withered buds.
It is said that geraniums will produce fewer flowers if there is less water, and it is true that the number of flowers has decreased.
I’m trying to do it quite often, but it still doesn’t increase.
I wonder if the plastic pot doesn’t fit well, or maybe it’s a seasonal thing.
So, I quickly pruned it leaving the side buds. I hope this refreshes you.
Next is magenta pink petunia.
Last year, the 100 yen seedlings bloomed beautifully, so I got them again this year.
What’s interesting is that even though I bought them at the same store for the same price (I bought them at different times),
Perhaps the species is different, but this year’s flowers and leaves are larger and taller, and the color turns purple at the end.
I didn’t know that even though they looked similar, they were different.
So, this person also did a quick pruning. I’m looking forward to the next bloom.
Well, since humans are so hot, plants must be hot too.
All that’s left are two lavenders and a yellow petunia ‘Easy Wave’.
I want to prune it quickly, but I want to arrange the cut, so I have to consult with the vase.
