Lately, I feel like I’ve been buying seedlings every week.
Of course, I bought some yesterday, but today I’d like to introduce you to the seedlings I got last week.

First of all, the mini star looks like it’s going to end suddenly due to the cold from today.

I love this flower and buy cut flowers every time I find them, but I didn’t know that seedlings were available.
Even though it was a beautiful, small seedling that had just appeared, the label said that the flowering season is from May to October.
Still, I wanted to try growing it, even if it was only for a short period of time. I think I’ll get it in early spring next year.

Next is Tsunotan viola “Mickey”.

I know what you mean when you say “Mickey”, but is it okay? (lol)
The seedlings were chosen by my family, and they are very cheap and common, but they are strangely cute.
It’s strange that I can’t come up with a perfect combination if I choose only the things I choose, but it’s strange that I can come together with a family selection.
I plan to plant them together with the pink seedlings I introduced the other day.

Next up is Chocolate Cosmos “Akatonbo” Awayuki.
This is of course love at first sight. The gentle touch of pale orange made my eyes turn into hearts.

It was still hot last week, so the flowers have a reddish tinge, but as the weather gets colder, they seem to become more and more whitish.
The delicate petals, elegantly curved neck, and delicate leaves are very cute.

The buds are steadily rising and it looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun.
It is a cold-resistant perennial that can withstand the summer heat, so I look forward to a long-term relationship with it.

Lastly, the Petit Dahlia “Humming Bronze” Eternity closeout item.
It’s a classic among classics, but I had wanted to grow it once, but it was over the summer and it was cheap, so I gave in to temptation.
I’ve given up on her, but she’s doing well and seems to be in pretty good condition. There are also lots of new buds coming out from the bottom.

I read somewhere that dahlias will not bud unless there is 12 hours of sunlight, so you won’t see flowers until after next year’s spring equinox.
Let’s look forward to that day and work hard to take care of it.

If you look at them side by side, it seems like I’m buying a lot.
But I bought three yesterday, and I’m still thinking about buying peonies, daisies, alyssum, and primulas.
I’m planning on getting them this year without any rush, so I might just keep visiting gardening stores.
I want to enjoy it and enjoy autumn to the fullest.
