Even though the first half of March has passed quickly, it’s still cold and today’s temperature is 8℃/3℃.
Looking at the weather forecast, does it seem like today is the last time it will be this cold?
Introducing the healthy plants on the balcony.

First up is garden cyclamen.
It has been blooming ever since I bought it last fall.

There are still lots of buds, but the flower heads are getting shorter.
It has been grown naturally without fertilizers or pesticides since the time of purchase, and it is growing vigorously without any insects.
I wonder if the short neck has something to do with no fertilizer? Let’s continue observing.

Next up is the leaf button ‘Moondrop Flare’ which has already started to bud despite the fairly cold weather.
I’m looking forward to seeing them bloom as soon as it gets warmer next week.

Speaking of buds, this is also the first goldfish grass Bronze Dragon that has buds since I bought it.
I also thought it wouldn’t bloom because I hadn’t used any fertilizer or pesticides since the fall when I bought it, but maybe it was because it was cold.
I’m looking forward to the beautiful fragrant flowers blooming.

This is Clematis Cartmanyjoe, whose buds are swollen every day despite the cold.
Of course, this one is also free of fertilizers and pesticides, so I was worried about whether it would make buds, but it seems to be doing well so I’m relieved.
I’m looking forward to spring.

Speaking of growing every day, it’s the buds of tulips.
It grew rapidly and the largest one was over 5cm long. I’m looking forward to it blooming too.

Lastly, Margaret, whose number of flowers has been increasing recently.
I started using no fertilizers or pesticides last fall, and I thought there would be a change in the number and size of flowers.
Although the plant itself has gotten smaller, the flowers have gotten bigger, and I feel like the number hasn’t changed.

Well, it’s too early to draw conclusions now, so let’s take a long-term view.
The real thing will happen (?) once it gets warmer and the number of insects increases, so I want to enjoy the peace I have now to the fullest.
