Sambritenia

Sambritenia season
We start November with Sambritenia , which is currently blooming vigorously.
It’s grown so big that it’s not really tall, but it’s drooping, and now it’s about 50cm long.

The one that started blooming last August was cut off, and since then it hasn’t bloomed.
It wasn’t until October that it started blooming again.

By the way, I got the seedlings in mid-September last year, but they didn’t bloom until October…

Quiet talk.
After I folded it, I changed the storage area to a shelf that gets sunlight all day,
The branches grew steadily and became larger, and at the end of September, buds began to appear from the bottom.

It was difficult to see the flowers, so I changed to hanging them with twine in early October.
The flowers are blooming steadily every day, and buds can now be seen at the top of the plant.

The real thing is more colorful and gorgeous than what you see in the photo, and it has quite a presence.
Photography is difficult, including trying not to include unnecessary things.

By the way, at the moment (highest temperature 25-20℃/minimum temperature 15-10℃), watering once every two days seems to be enough.
I try to feed it after the soil is completely dry.
I am growing it with liquid fertilizer diluted twice a week to more than twice the prescribed amount, and once a month with fertilizer and pesticides.

As a side note, all the plants I put in from broken branches in August have taken root, so they seem to be really resistant to heat.
There were no aphids or scale insects, so it seems that the plants did not weaken even in the summer.

Last December, it was already cold enough,
I saw beautiful flowers blooming like a waterfall at someone else’s house, so I’d like to see them bloom like that, but I don’t know.

Don’t have any expectations, look forward to it, and continue to take care of it.

Lastly, I would like to express my gratitude for blooming… Thank you!
