Before the typhoon hits, I decided to bring the plants from my balcony indoors.
I was concerned that it might get hit or caught and damage the stock, so I cut it back short.
This is the continuation of that.

This time, it’s Calibrachoa “Uno Double” orange.
I was looking forward to seeing the trees grow thickly, but they were damaged by scale insects and were slow to grow.
During the extermination process, I accidentally broke some thin branches, so it was difficult for the tree to grow.

It is resistant to heat, and although large, strong leaves have recently appeared, they are somewhat spindly and unreliable.
Looks like there are still scale insects,
It looks like this summer is still going to continue, so I decided to go there hoping for a hot day.

It’s small and smaller than when I bought it.
But I hope this will make you feel better.

That’s all for cutting back before the typhoon.

But this alone would be bland, so I added petunia, which has been very energetic lately.

Although the seedlings cost only 100 yen, they grow thickly, are free from insects and diseases, and bloom profusely.
I didn’t really like the color, but now I think it’s very bright and beautiful.
I’m glad I bought it because it might be the best value for money this summer.

That’s what makes gardening so interesting, and it’s so profound that it’s hard to stop.
Let’s enjoy this summer to the fullest.
