It was hot again today, but the clouds at sunset were beautiful in Osaka, where the temperature was 35℃/28℃.
Even in this intense heat, I cut back the Summer Mist Blue, which had become thick and thick.
This is the third time that Summermist has been cut back.
The first time was about two months ago.
The second time was here a little over a month ago.
You can see that they have grown quite large despite the heat.
Actually, although I did not write about it in the article,
I cut them quite often to decorate them, but they are growing so vigorously that I don’t even notice.
However, I can’t help but feel that it has grown longer, and there are fewer flowers in the center.
It’s stretching so much that it’s about to reach the floor, so I decided to just go with it.
Finally, it looks like this. Refreshing.
I was so sad to see all the flowers disappear, so I kept the top ones.
When I cut it up, I noticed that there were insects on it, so I’m glad I did.
What’s interesting is that it’s such a strong plant.
Even though I cut it and left it for a while, the flowers withered and did not grow back.
If you want to keep it alive, it’s best to put it in water right away.
I decided to cut back the branches that are currently bearing flowers once they have finished blooming.
I would like to calculate the number of flowers that will bloom next, and choose a plant that will continue to bloom at different times.
I want to see more flowers blooming,
It’s so strong that it looks like it’ll grow back to normal in no time, so I’d like to try cutting it without hesitation.
