Today’s balcony – rainy season –
Today’s temperature is 24℃/22℃.
The rainy season was announced amidst a moody atmosphere.
This is what the balcony looked like on a cloudy morning.
First of all, the most popular seeding nasturtium.
Once it blooms, the buds come up one after another, and there are 5 more yellow flowers.
Oranges are also blooming. I was surprised at how bright the colors were.
Petunia ‘Easy Wave’ Yellow is also producing more flowers as the weather gets warmer.
The refreshing yellow color is cute, but the flowers still seem to be small.
The super geranium champion “Orange” also has a great presence,
It’s strange that even though it’s a geranium, it somehow looks like a hydrangea. The flowers are big.
Are those hydrangeas going to end soon?
The only flower cluster I have this year seems to have opened all the way to the inside.
Pelargonium “Grand Passo Plus” sweet pink is also in good condition and has many buds.
Apparently he loves the sun,
There are a lot of buds in sunny areas, so I rotate them around when I place them.
Finally, fixed point observation Margaret.
It’s still going strong, and I had planned to prune it before the rainy season, but I couldn’t make it in time for the early rainy season this year.
I’m wondering what to do and when to prune it.
The rain had gotten a little heavier during the night, and it fell onto the south-facing balcony.
However, if the rain was about 2mm/h and there was more rain, I would be able to go into the house, but I don’t know what to do in a situation like this.
The reason I only had to put it under the eaves this time was because the heavy rain that started in the middle of the night turned into a northerly wind.
I will write about how I coped with the upcoming rainy and typhoon seasons.
